Registered office: Birgunj Metropolitan City, Ward 11, Parsa, Madhesh Province, Nepal.

Hasta Bazaar Private Limited is responsible for the handling of personal information described in this policy. This policy explains the handling of personal information in connection with HastaBazaar accounts, seller applications, purchases and support requests.

Information covered

Account and order information includes the name, email address, phone number, delivery address, purchase details and correspondence you provide.

Seller information includes business and contact details, registration or tax documents needed for verification, product information and settlement details. Verification documents are not public listing content.

Transaction information includes payment status, references, refunds and settlement records. Technical information associated with website use can include an IP address, browser information and security or activity logs. We limit collection to information needed for the stated purpose.

How information is used

We use personal information to provide requested services, manage accounts, assess seller applications, process orders, arrange delivery, handle payments and refunds, respond to enquiries, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.

Information must not be reused for an unrelated purpose without an appropriate legal basis and any required consent. Marketing permission is separate from order and account communications. You can withdraw marketing permission by contacting support@hastabazaar.com.

Sharing information

Sellers receive the information needed to fulfil their orders and address relevant after-sales issues. Delivery and payment providers receive information necessary for their services. Providers supporting hosting, communications, security and administration must handle information only for authorised purposes and with appropriate protection.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to respond to a lawful request from a competent authority. We do not sell personal information.

Sellers must not use customer contact details for unsolicited marketing, unrelated sales or unauthorised sharing.

Payments and sensitive information

Use the payment process offered at checkout. Do not send account passwords, payment PINs, one-time passwords or full card security details through email, messages or support attachments. We do not request these credentials for support or refunds.

We restrict access to verification and settlement information to people who need it for their duties. Collection of an identification document must have a specific verification or legal purpose.

Retention and protection

Information is retained for the period needed to provide the service, maintain required transaction records, handle claims and meet legal retention duties. When no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised, subject to lawful preservation requirements.

We use reasonable access controls and organisational and technical safeguards to protect information. We do not promise that any online service is completely risk-free.

Information processed through a service provider remains subject to the protections in this policy. Any transfer requiring notice, consent or another legal safeguard must satisfy that requirement before it takes place.

Contact support@hastabazaar.com to request access, correction, account closure, deletion or withdrawal of consent. We may verify your identity before acting. We will explain when information must be retained or a request cannot lawfully be fulfilled.

Withdrawing optional consent does not affect an earlier lawful use. An account deletion request does not cancel a pending order, refund or legal recordkeeping obligation.

Public reviews and product content are visible to other users. Do not include private information that you do not wish to publish.

Children and changes

Accounts and seller registrations are intended for adults. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authority so that we can review and address it.
